About This Park
Driftwood Canyon Provincial Park located in the traditional territory of the Wet’suwet’en people (Smithers, BC). The park is recognized as having one of the worlds most significant fossil beds. The park is open seasonally for day use from May 15th to September 2nd and features picnic areas, hiking trails, and Driftwood Creek.
