Park Facilities & Accessibility Features

Access Route

Throughout this site the access route is mostly compact gravel and grass with loose gravel in some sections. The access route and terrain varies from gentle 1 to 2 degrees to moderate 3 to 5 degrees and a 10 degree running slope at washroom. In this case the two important features such as the fishing dock and the accessible washroom have access routes that do not meet the code and therefore would not receive a accessible rating. Trails

There is a walking trail around Dugan Lake. The first 75 metres of trail does not have much curb appeal. There is a steep slope at trail head with weeds and loose gravel in places. Thereafter the trail is very good. It is comprised of gravel and is generally hard packed with some areas of loose gravel. The typical running slope of the trail is a gentle 1 to 2 degrees but there are some sections that exceed 5 degrees which is steep. Download Full Accessibility Audit

Water Access

Fishing dock needs the gaps filled in at the start of the dock or needs a transition plate installed to the recommended or above code standards. Download Full Accessibility Audit
