Trails
The trail was audited from Gladstone Drive and Loyola Place to Gladstone Elementary. The trail connects the neighborhood with a playground and the school. The paths are 2.5 to 3 meters wide, perfect for the different users with lots of room to pass. The playground is over 20 years old and could use some improvements. Given the path and the proximity to the Montessori school it would be nice to see this upgraded to a more universally accessible play structure complete with accessible surface such as recycled rubber and access paths to the bench and perhaps an accessible table. Regardless, the paths encourage multi use and connectivity for the residents. 90% of the trail is flat and gentle. There is a section of trail through the woods that is very steep for approximately 10 metres. Watch for tree roots in wooded sections. Download Full Accessibility Audit
